http://www.taosf.orgAIMS AND OBJECTIVESThe association was reorganized on September 2nd, 1997 with 12 executive members with the following Aims and Objectives.
1. To support the people and the policies of the Tibetan Government-in- exile headed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual and temporal leader of Tibeans, and to ensure the dissemination of truthful, timely information about the critical situation of Tibet to the world.
2. To preserve Tibetan identities-culture, language, and religion and also support the Institutions and Organizations that render assistance for all sentient beings.
3. To stengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation with all peoples in general and with a focus on enhancing brotherhood and sisterhood amongst Tibetans and those who value the fundamental truths of human rights.
4. To abide by the rules and regulations of the Association as will be finalized by the members in a practical democratic spirit.
The above aims and objectives were endrossed by the general members on October 4th, 1997.
