Chaksam-pa aims to continue the work of preserving and promoting the Tibetan culture by organizing national and international tours and workshop classes. Authentic costumes, from headdresses to boots, as well as hand-made musical instruments, ensure true representations of the traditional dances and operas of Tibet. Chaksam-pa's performers represent the only masters of Tibetan performance arts in exile. All of the performers are former members of the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, in Dharamsala, India.
